In this Art Deco period-property, the previous owners had replaced the original front door, frame and side panels with uPVC. This was was poorly fitted and made the property unsecure and detrimentally effected its kerb-appeal.
Although there was no record of the original detailing, other properties on the road did have the original features and these were used to exactly match how the property was originally designed, whilst also providing an opportunity to improve the heat and sound insulation together with greater security.
Works not only included the front door, frame, glass and side panels, but also internal modifications including restoration of the hall way and Art Deco plaster detailing.
